In response to the Governor’s Executive Order, the Secretary named an Assistant Secretary of State for International Affairs.

The Assistant Secretary of State for International Affairs acts as advisor to the Secretary of State on matters related to foreign relations and economic development and serves as an agency liaison between foreign business and government delegations and the Offices of the Secretary of State and the Governor.
