Please Note: The Filing Guide chapters presented on this page do not reflect changes to the business organization statutes effected by the 79th Legislature or by the Texas Business Organizations Code (BOC), which became effective on January 1, 2006. For current requirements relating to instruments filed by a domestic or foreign corporation, limited liability company, limited partnership, or relating to the registration of other out-of-state entities to transact business in the state, please refer to the information provided on the Secretary of State's promulgated forms. We ask for your patience as we work to update the Filing Guide and continue to implement changes effected by the restructuring of the business organization statutes.
