I'm Texas Secretary of State Geoff Connor. As Texans and Americans, we are all proud to live in a democracy. However, it is important we remember that democracy is dependent on a single act - the act of voting.
I want to encourage you to vote, and now it's easier than ever to ensure your vote counts. Vote early. Vote by mail. Vote on Election Day. However you do it, be sure that in 2004, you celebrate freedom and vote.

Hola, soy Helena Colyandro, la vocera hispana de la Secretaría de Estado. Como Texanos y como Americanos, todos estamos orgullosos de vivir en una democracia. Sin embargo, cabe recordar que la democracia depende de una sola acción: el voto. Por eso, quiero animarlos a que voten. Pueden votar por adelantado, por correspondencia o votar el día de las elecciones -- cualquiera de estas opciones es buena. Lo importante es que, en este 2004, celebremos nuestra libertad yendo a votar.
