Annual Keynote Dinner.

DALLAS, TX – Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos today addressed the first annual Keynote Dinner for the Mission Foods Texas-Mexico Center at Southern Methodist University. The Center, announced in April 2016, will engage in research focusing on cross-border relations between Texas and Mexico, including studies on trade, economics, energy and education. The Keynote Dinner marks the official launch of the Center's events and public policy research. Secretary Pablos expressed his deep appreciation to SMU and Mission Foods for their commitment to advancing cross-border dialogue and discussed his goals for strengthening the Texas-Mexico relationship.

“Having the Center at SMU is certainly going to take the Texas-Mexico relationship to the next level,” Secretary Pablos said. “We want to make sure that we continue to have a vibrant relationship, not only as neighbors and great friends, but also as excellent trade and commercial partners. I want to thank you for all the work you are doing, and I look forward to working together to make sure we continue this great work and find new opportunities for partnership and collaboration.”
